Enjoy a memorable day surrounded by the spectacular scenery of Spain’s famous Priorat wine region, just an hour from Tarragona. This small and exclusive wine-producing area is one of only two in Spain to hold the prestigious DOCa classification, the country’s highest designation for wine. We travel along winding country roads through the dramatic Montsant hills, passing steep slopes and terraced vineyards rooted in the region’s distinctive llicorella slate soils.

These demanding growing conditions help give Priorat wines their remarkable intensity, depth and character. We visit the historic Cellers de Scala Dei winery for a guided tour and wine tasting, followed by a visit to nearby Monastery of Escaladei. Then we drive to the spectacular clifftop village of Siurana for lunch amid breathtaking views before returning to Tarragona.
Note: This tour can be adapted to 5 hours and pick-up can also be in Salou, La Pineda, Cambrils, Sitges or Vilanova i la Geltrú

How to book T5 Priorat Wine day tour

Booking is possible until 48 hours before a tour, but we ask that you book well in advance to have the best chance of getting places.

Then, to confirm your places and guarantee your reservation, we ask that you pay a deposit of the tour amount by credit card.

3) We do not recommend this tour for children under 4 years old but please contact us before booking.
4) Many of our tours have some walking, so an average level of fitness is required but we are happy to adapt the pace for your comfort. It is the responsibility of the person booking to inform us of any special needs or health issues including mobility issues.
5) We do not offer tours to wedding stag groups or groups in fancy dress
6) Tours are non-alcoholic and non-smoking during transport
7) Picnics are usually not possible on a tour and we kindly ask that drinks, food or snacks are not consumed in the minivan to avoid stains.
8) There is free water in the minivan throughout the tour.
